It's not like Strength is overpowered now is it? It doesn't offer an unremovable, permanent IAS with no downfall, aswell as that, imbalanced energy management?

been unbalanced like this since day 1 with para.. please fix anet. its really not that hard to add 3 LINES OF CODE.

If Paragons get fixed in every other way, meaning their primary, spear damage, their IAS, unremovable passive buffs, and well, everything wrong with them, you've got yourself a deal.

/signed for paragons needing a leadership shield
I also agree with everyone that there are a lot of attributes out there that do not get enough love from players due to the sheer lack of a weapon to go with them. I have no idea how many threads I have seen requesting Beast Mastery weapons.

It's not hard at all to get high enough leadership with enough left over to get 9-10 in motivation or command(either 12-10-8, 11-10-10 or 12-9-9 or 11-9-8-8 before runes and headgear), and still have useful skills from those attributes. Just because warriors get shields in their primary attribute doesn't mean paragons need them. I actually like that, if I wanted to, I could roll a /P and meet the req of either attribute.

If you are giving paragons a third type of shield, throw in Beastmastery Staff or something.

I don't think you understand that there are people /unsigning who use Paragon a LOT. I have a Legendary Survivor Paragon since before GW:EN, and did not use FFF/HFFF to get it. I actually played the game to get the title, and know how imbalanced a Leadership Shield could be. Many times I did not use ANY skills from Command or Motivation, but since I was working on Survivor, wanted the extra defense from a shield.
Paragon's don't need a shield at all, but a Leadership shield is not a wise move in my opinion.

Your pet IS the weapon in that case.
Having a leadership shield would make paragons even more overpowered.
Strength was designed with shield use in mind, leadership was balanced without. Those who say strength shields should be removed because there arre no leadership ones are just being stupid.

I can't make a vote unless there's a different suggestion like the one ArkNayarr mentioned. I think that if you put shields in Leadership it would almost bring them to empowerment. Further more, I don't see any REAL problem of para shields' current requirement, especially when it keeps the class balanced. As a matter of fact, I am going to make a vote, based on previous posters response and my personal experience. If you want something for Leadership, ask for a horn, or any tool that would fit a leader. In GW2, they could make a shield for Leadership and Command, and something like a horn for Motivation and Leadership, that might be fine if Anet is ok with it. For now, I'm well content with the way things are for Paras, but if Anet feels the same way then lets expect them to add Leadership into one of the requirements. Provided that they take out one of the other two, perhaps motivation since I don't see a real reason why you need motivational skills to wield a shield. Now, since Anet saw fit to put the requirements they way they are today, then odds are, that's where they will stay. And if there are going to be any changes anyway, it would have happened long before. /notsigned due to the factors of which I just stated. (Sorry if I was generally running off. I just had a lot to say.)
